<br />3413 <br /> <br />\:. ' <br /> <br />\.. III <br /> <br />(2) No local authority shall issue a building permit for purpo!es <br />of a major extension of an existing domestic water or sewage treatment system <br />without the applicant first having obtained a permit pursuant to these regu- <br />lations. <br /> <br />4-303. Application for Permit. <br /> <br />(1) Any person seeking to develop a major extension of an existing <br />domestic water or sewage treatment system wholly or partially within the unin- <br />corporated territory of this County shall apply for a permit from thE' Permit <br />Authority on the appropriate form prescribed by the Colorado Land Use Commission <br />and maintained in the office of the Department of Community Development of this <br />County. (For sewage systems the site application form adopted by the Water <br />Quality Control Commission will be completed and attached to the application <br />form. If the site location is approved by the Permit Authority, the same form <br />may be submitted for action by the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission.) <br /> <br />(2) tlot later than ten (10) days following receipt of a completed <br />application for a permit to locate or construct a major extension of an existing <br />domestic water or sewage treatment system, the Permit Authority shall determine <br />and set a fee in an amount necessary to cover the costs incurred in the review <br />and approval or disapproval of the permit application, including all hearings <br />conducted therefor, and shall notify the applicant in \./riting of said fee and <br />its amount. Not later than ten (10) days following his receipt of such notice, <br />the applicant shall present to the Permit Authority non-refundable certified funds <br />in the amount set. Until the fee is paid to the Permit Authority, the applica- <br />tion for permit shall not be further processed. <br /> <br />4-304. Submission Requirements. <br /> <br />An application for a permit to develop a major extension of an existing <br />domestic l'later or Se\'iage treatment system shall be accompanied by five (5) <br />copies of the following documents and information: <br /> <br />(1) An abstract of the proposal irdicating the scope and need for the <br />development; <br /> <br />(2) Preliminary review and comment on t~e proposal by the appropriate <br />agency of the Colorado Department of lIatural Resources and the Colorado Department <br /> <br />- 42 - <br />
