RESPONSIBILITIES- <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />(a) It will be the responsibility of the CoIlUllittee to <br />establish means and procedures to promote coordination of the water <br />and related land resources activities of the Federal agencies and the <br />States; to promote resolution of inter-agency problems at the regional <br />level; to suggest to the Inter-Agency CoIlUllittee on Water Resources and <br />the States changes in law or policy which would promote coordination, <br />or resolution of inter~gency problems; and in its discretion to <br />communicate with the Inter-Agency CoIlUllittee on Water Resources on any <br />matters of mutual interest. <br /> <br />(b) The efforts of the Committee on coordination of worK <br />and resolution of conflicts will be directed towards all agency and <br />State activities involved in their respective water and related land <br />resources development responsibiLities and shall include coordination <br />of the following: <br /> <br />(1) Collection and interpretation of basic data. <br /> <br />(2) Investigation and planning of water and related <br />land resources projects. <br /> <br />(3) Programming (including scheduling) of water and <br />related land resources construction and <br />development. <br /> <br />6. GEOGRAPHICAL JURISDICTION - The geographical area to be <br />encompassed within the sphere of Committee influence will include the <br />entire State of Oklahoma and those portions of the States of Louisiana, <br />Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico lying within <br />the Arkansas, White and Red River Basins. <br /> <br />A-3 <br />
