The state agricultural and farm level
research required price projections of petroleum and natural gas
products and electricity as inputs to the farm enterprise linear
programming models.
Study Element A-2. The state energy production impacts
research required price projections of crude petroleum and
natural gas at wellhead for estimating royalty payment income
and, in some instances, for projecting the future levels of
crude petroleum and natu ral gas production.
Study Element A-3. The economic analysis portion of the state
water resources evaluation and impacts research required pro-
jections of crude petroleum and natural gas prices as well as
refined petroleum product prices in order to estimate the total
output of the oil and gas production and refinery sectors in the
state input/output models.
Study Element B-1. The US Army Corps of Engineers required
estimates of inter-basin water transfer pumping power costs for
thei r studies on alternative water importation routes. Cost
estimates were developed for the Corps of Engineers consistent
with those reported herei they are documented in the Corps of
Engineers' reports on their water transfer route studies.
Study Element B-8. Analyses performed as part of the Energy
Price and Technology Assessment study element were carried
out using these energy price projectionsi in particular, the
assessment of energy production impacts on employment and
income in the Study Area the energy shortfall impacts analysis,
and the evaluations of new energy supply technologies used
these projections directly.

1-2
