<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, <br />, <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />Completion of'~onsultatlon on new or existing projects will not be completed <br />until there has been sufficient progress in the implementation of the San Juan <br />River Basin Endangered Fishes Recovery Program. <br /> <br />Extension of Consultation <br /> <br />As stated above, completion of the Section 7 consultation for the <br />Animas-La Plata project would be subject to implementation of the Program. We <br />anticipate that in order to 'cooperatively develop and initiate such a program, <br />the consultation period must be extended until the spring of 1991, at which <br />time the Service would then issue a final biological opinion.
