Colotado-Ute Southwest Proiect <br /> <br />Colorado-Ute Electric Association is planning two new <br /> <br />400-mw units in western Colorado. However, plans to go <br /> <br />forward with the project have been delayed indefinitely. due <br /> <br />in part to the large decline in oil shale development. <br /> <br />For purposes of this table. Reclamation has assumed that <br />one Jnit will be constructed and on line by the year 2000 <br /> <br />depleting 5.000 acre-feet of water annually. The second unit <br /> <br />was assumed to be on line by 2020 adding an additional 5.000 <br /> <br />acre-Joot depletion. <br /> <br />~inally, Colorado-Ute is planning to upgrade its Nucla <br />power~lant from 38 to 110 megawatts by 1990. This is expected <br />to re~ult in about a 1.000 acre-foot increase in depletions, <br /> <br />cc.
