A satisfactory Contract/Agreement between Aqua-Chern, Inc., and the Bureau <br />of Reclamation (Reclamation) for salt removal is negotiated. <br /> <br />The Board hereby directs the Director and his staff to work with the Forurn, <br />Reclamation, and Aqua-Chern, Inc., to determine the best means to implement the <br />Glenwood Springs Desalination Project, including the drafting of legislation to provide for <br />assured long-term funding for annual payment for the tonnage of salt removed by the project. <br />In addition, the Board requests Reclamation's good faith assistance in implementing the <br />project. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send <br />a certified copy of this resolution to the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Forum and <br />the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a <br />majority vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session <br />assembled at Denver, Colorado, on the jth day of March, 1994, at which a quorum was <br />present. <br /> <br />Daries C.
