Public invited to comment <br />on second Federal Reqister Notice. <br /> <br />January 1992 Newsletter No. 5 published. will contain <br />summarized comments and Proposed Decision. <br /> <br />PHASE II <br /> <br />Phase II will involve application of the NEPA process to the <br />Proposed Decision, providing the framework for the new public <br />involvement plan and associated activities. Public meetings, <br />workshops, or hearings will be in accordance with the NEPA <br />process, e.g. Environmental Impact Statement, etc. A Categorical <br />Exclusion would require that an overall Public Involvement <br />Summary Report for Phase I be completed within 120 days after the <br />Proposed Decision, and a final Federal Reqister Notice published. <br />The completion of Phase II will result in a final decision by the <br />Secretary of the Interior. <br /> <br />7 <br />
