recreation areas along the east shore of the Lake Francis Case provide ade-
quate camping and fishing facilities for the area. As part of the
Lake Andes-Wagner Unit, the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks
will sponsor a fish rearing sub impoundment to enhance the fishery in
Lake Francis Case.

I
I

Municipal and Inclustrial Water

I
I
I
I
I
I

There does not appear to be a need for municipal water in the project area.

The communities of Lake Andes, Wagner, and, Armour are served by the Randall

Rural Water System, which provides an adequate water supply from the

Missouri River. The quality of the water meets the present public health

requirements of the Safe Water Drinking Ac't. Ravinia is the only community

in the area not served by Missouri River water, and this community has not

expressed any interest in obtaining a ~unicipal supply from the

Lake Andes-Wagner Unit. Most of the rural landowners in the study area are

also served by an adequate water supply from the Randall Rural Water

System. There are no present or projected industrial projects which would

need water.

I
I
I
I

I
I

I

I

6

I
I
I
