Washington, Denver, regional, and project offices will develop and
carry out individual Action Plans in furtherance of Reclamation's
mission and goals. Progress toward meeting goals outlined in this
plan will be summarized in Reclamation's Annual Report. The
schematic flowchart on the following page shows the major steps
for the development, organization, and implementation of the
Bureau's Strategic Plan.

As the Bureau of Reclamation moves towards the
21st century, it will ensure effective stewardship of the Nation's
natural resources with which it has been entrusted, and will
continue to manage, develop, and protect those resources
consistent with national policy. This Strategic Plan charts
Reclamation's future course.
