<br />0019S: <br /> <br />Synopsis (Contd.l <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This was the first full year of operation for Norton Reservoir. Initial <br />delivery of municipal water was made on September 6, 1965, to the city <br />of Norton, Kansas, in accordance with their repayment contract. <br /> <br />1966 OUTLOOK <br /> <br />The conservation pools of Swanson, Harry Strunk, Harlan County, Lovewell, <br />Kirwin, Webster and Cedar Bluff Reservoirs were fUll at the start of <br />1966. Bonny and Enders conservation pools will fill under "reasonable <br />minimum" inflows and Hugh Butler and Norton conservation pools will <br />fill in 1966 if greater than "reasonable minimum" inflows occur. The <br />carryover storage and the inflow that can reasonably be expected will <br />be adequate to meet the 1966 demands. Irrigation facilities are com- <br />pleted to serve 151,145 acres, of which 121,860 acres are expected to <br />be irrigated in 1966. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />v <br />
