<br />000605 <br /> <br />BUDGET AND FINANCES <br /> <br />The Western Governors' Conference resolution authorizing the formation <br />of the Western States Water Council limited the budget for the first year to <br />$150,000, with each member state contributing equally. At the Executive Com- <br />mittee meeting in Idaho Falls, Idaho, June 22, 1967, a budget of $124,000 was <br />unanimously adopted, using an estimated carry-over of unobligated funds from <br />FY '67, and changing each member state's assessment for FY '68 from $11,121 to <br />$5.000. <br /> <br />The unobligated balance on June 30, 1967, was $66,475, which resulted <br />in an assessment to each member state for FY '68 of $5,000.
