The Corps of Engineers will direct flood <br />operations when the reservoir water surface is in the allocated flood <br />control pool. The joint~use pool may be operated for flood purposes <br />in accordance with a field agreement that will be executed between the <br />Corps of Engineers and the Bureau. The Lower South Platte Hater <br />Conservancy District and the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District <br />are the entities which will contract for the water supply. The <br />conservancy districts will subcontract with the individual ditch <br />companies and irrigation districts who will continue to be responsible <br />for the actual oper~tion and maintenance of all existing irrigation <br />works. <br /> <br />The recreation and fish and wildlife lands and facilities will be <br />transferred to appropriate State agencies, namely, the Colorado Division <br />of Parks and Outdoor Recreation and the Colorado Division of Wildlife, <br />for administration and management. <br /> <br />12 <br />
