<br />SOUTH DAKOTA <br /> <br /> <br />It shall be the policy of South Dakota to continue to support the <br /> <br /> <br />diversion and use of water from the main atem of the Missouri River for <br /> <br /> <br />developments found to be feasible and desirable. Coal slurry pipelines may be <br /> <br /> <br />included among these developments. <br /> <br /> <br />Navigation of the Missouri is considered as a possible transportation <br />alternative. <br /> <br />WYOMING <br />The use of stream channels or canals in the State as a means of <br />transportation does not exist and, consequently, no actions are required for <br />flow or channel maintenance for this purpose. There is possibility for <br /> <br />utilization of slurry pipelines for transport of minerals which use would <br /> <br />require legislative approval. <br /> <br />G-46 <br />
