<br />12-6-91 <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DETAILED WORK PLAN <br /> <br />This section of the Scope of Services describes the detailed work plan that will be <br />followed in the development of the Planning Model. The work plan is divided into specific <br />tasks and subtasks that accomplish particular objectives and which support activities in <br />subsequent tasks. The Project Schedule (attached hereto as Exhibit B) portrays graphically <br />the interdependence and timing of the tasks and subtasks in this detailed work plan. <br /> <br />Task 1: Coordination, Review, Needs Analysis, and Functional Specification <br /> <br />Subtask 1.1: Project Coordination and Public Involvement Activities <br /> <br />The objective of Subtask 1.1 is to define project coordination procedures and <br />schedules and to establish a framework for support of ongoing project coordination and <br />public involvement activities. The scope of work for this task will include the definition <br />of procedures for communication, attendance at meetings, preparation of appropriate kinds . <br />of information for public dissemination, and preparation of certain technical memoranda <br />to record information collected and decisions reached in the course of meetings and <br />coordination activities. The scope of this task does not include the preparation of technical <br />memoranda or intermediate work products specified under other tasks. Subtask 1.1 is <br />further divided into two subtasks: <br /> <br />Subtask 1.1.a: Establish Project Protocols and Schedules <br /> <br />The purpose of this sub-task is to clearly identify and define the roles of the <br />Sponsors Committee and PFG, the official contact persons at various participating agencies, <br />the procedures to be followed in contacting agencies and individuals for information and <br />in distributing project information to agencies and individuals for information and in <br />distributing project information to agencies and individuals, and the desired format of <br />various project documents and correspondence. Definition of these protocols will help to <br />ensure that project information is provided to the right people at the right time and that <br />confusion and delay stemming from missed or misdirected communications are avoided. <br /> <br />A related purpose of this sub-task is to develop a preliminary schedule for <br />subsequent Sponsors Committee and PFG meetings and coordination meetings with USBR <br />staff developing the Accounting Spreadsheet. A preliminary Project Schedule for all project <br />tasks and meetings has been attached hereto as Exhibit B. . <br />
