Overview As originally designed, the Metropolitan Water Supply Investigation Project (the Project) consists of four srudy phases: I) scoping to more specifically define srudy areas aod objectives; m infonnation development to learn more about each of the srudy areas in order to more specifically define options; Ill) development of analytical tools and analysis of options; and IV) fonnulation and evaluation of conceprual design plans. This Plan of Srudy (POS) concludes the scoping phase (phase n of the Project and is based upon extensive deliberations of the Technical Advisory Corruninee (T AC) and its work groups. The services which Hydrosphere Resource Consultants, Inc. (Hydrosphere) and its subcontractors will provide to the Colorado Water Conservation Board (the Board) in carrying out Phase II of the Project are described in this document. The attached schematic is a flow chart depicting the four Project phases and the relationships between the various compooents of this POS. To assist in providing the services described in this POS, Hydrosphere has assembled a Consulting Team which consists of the following subcontractors: HRS Water Consultants, Inc. Spronk Water Engineers, Inc. Mulhern MRE, Inc. ECI, Inc. This POS describes the responsibilities' of the Consulting Team, the T AC, and others in completing this phase of the project. It includes a description of the tasks to be completed for each srudy category, the administrative framework for coordinating and managing the srudy, the individuals responsible for managing the tasks to be completed, a schedule for completion of Phase II and an estimate of the costs associated with each task.
