or "obvious" razorback suckers were identified, One hundred and nine
(109) specimens were identified as longnose sucker and more probably are
represented, along with many probable hybrids, in the category of
unidentified suckers, There is a very slim chance that some of the fish
identified as flannelmouth sucker or categorized as unidentified suckers
might actually be razorback sucker, but such is not morphologically
obvious. Non-cypriniform fish (less than 1% of the total catch) are
plains killifish and green sunfish.

Gunnison River, USFWS, Larval Collections, Summer 1992 (under FY 93
funds):

All data summarized and submitted. A total of 35 larval-fish collections
for Gunnison River Miles 59.9 to 5.4 were preserved during 3 to 7 August
1992. The collections contain 6,248 preserved fish (an average of 179
specimens per collection) representing 13 species. Cyprinids account for
93%, catostomids 7%, and the four remaining families just 0.4% of all
fish preserved. Only 15% of all fish (9% cyprinids, 6% catostomids) are
native species. Percentage composition for the more abundant species is
67% for fathead minnow, 8 to 6% each for sand shiner, red shiner, Gila
chubs, and bluehead sucker. Chubs are probably all roundtail chub;
individual measures to the nearest millimeter and fin ray counts were not
recorded. No Colorado squawfi sh or .obvious. razorback suckers were
identified. Non-cypriniform fish are represented by 18 plains killifish,
4 green sunfish, 2 mosquitofish, and 1 black bullhead.

Colorado River, CDOW, Drift-Net Collections, Summer 1994:

A total of 300 samples was received for processing; 180 samples covered
under FY 94 funds, 120 samples covered under FY 95 funds. Sample
processing is in early stages, anticipated completion by end of January
1995.

VII. Recommendations: None.

VIII. Project Status: On-track and ongoing.
IX, FY 94 Budget

A, Funds provided:
B. Funds expended:
C, Difference:

$68,200
$68,200
none

X. Status of Data Submission: See Section VI.

XI, Signed: Robert T, Muth and Darrel E.
