DOMINY: With your letter of April 4, 1962, you sent <br />us a eopy of regulation No.1 to the "General Regulations for Gen- <br />eration and Sale of Power in Aeeordanee With the Boulder Oanyon <br />Projeet Adjustment Act." You asked for our comments thereon. <br />You also eneloseda eopy of "General Principles to Govern, and <br />Operating Oriteria for Glen Oanyon Reservoir (Lake Powell) and <br />Lake Mead During the Lake Powell Filling Period." <br />Comments to the latter, the filling eriteria, have been previously <br />submitted to you through eorrespondence, the last being in our letter <br />of January 2, 1962, .addressed to the Honorable Stewart L. Udall, <br />Secretary of the Interior. <br />l~elative to the consideration of additional regulation No.1 to the <br />"General Regulation's," our only eomment is in questioning the <br />neeessity t1ndjor praotieability of the eonsideration of this proposed <br />regulation l1t this tim'e since it does not become effective until June 1, <br />1987. It would seem to us that this is a matter that may well be <br />given further consideration with an understl1nding and agreement <br />reaehed thereon some few yel1rs from now sinee 1987 is not in this <br />pl1rticular instanee a pressing date. <br />Very truly yours, <br /> <br />A.
