Senior Water Resource Specialist Colorado Water Conservation Board 1313 Sherman st., Room 721 Denver, CO 80203 Dear Randy: This correspondence is in response to the request of the city of Englewood to provide information on the storable inflow and releases for the Bear Creek Reservoir for the development of the Bear Creek Reservoir Operations Study. The information requested was the sources of water which will be used to fill its portion of the allocated storage pool and develop a proposed schedule for the filling and release of water in the reservoir. At this time, Englewood does not have any storage rights decreed for the Bear Creek Reservoir. Englewood presently has storage water rights which could be used to provide the inflows for its portion of storage pool, and is presently developing additional storable water rights including the McBroom Ditch Transfer. However, the physical facilities and/or the exchanges necessary to physically get this water to the Bear Creek Reservoir have not yet bean fully developed. The:-efora, the sou:-ces of t.~e inflo';ls ~annot be precisely quantified at this time. However, it is anticipated that the filling of the Englewood portion of the reservoir will take place during April and June during the year and releases will take place between July and October.
