Construction continued on Vat Tunnel; the boring machine excavated 27.230 feet of material bringing the tunnel to 63 per- cent completion. Rock Creek Road was completed in May_ Stillwater Tunnel reached 55 percent completion. with 8.116 feet of material excavated during FY78. A contract was awarded in July lor place- ment of riprap at Soldier Creek Dam; the contract was 46 percent complele by September 30, 1978. In August, contracts were awarded for the Alpine Aqueduct, Section 1, ollhe Jordan Aqueduct System, and the Tabiona Field Station. Work on these contracts began in late September. Bids were opened for buildings and utilities for the Currant Creek Recreation Area in September: an award will be made in FY79. Jensen Unit. The outlet works tunnel lining lor Red Fleet Dam was completed in April. Although outside operations were shut down lor winter between February and April, work on the dam was about 56 percent complete at the end 01 the liscal year. Vernal Unit, Work began on the Block 4 drains in FY78.
