It was aereed that the total cost of the proposed Aspen Reservoir estimated at ~7,OOO,000, should be included in the construction costs of the exportation project, but at this time the Committee has not resolved the policy question as to the manner of payment for the active capacity in Aspen Reservoir not needed for replacement purposes. Preservation of Fish and Wildlife The Committee considered c~~ents from representatives of Federal Fish and Wildlife Service and the State Game and Fish Commission with respect to the maintenance of stream flows in the Frying Pan River at the collection conduit and at Norrie below the junction of North Fork. The Committee adopts the tentative schedule of flows shown in the report of the Engineering Advisory Subcommittee dated December 30, 1949, as it is understood that the Fish and ~ildlife Service and the State Game and Fish Commission are in agreement with the schedule of minimum average flows described therein. The Committee recom~ends that loss of, and damage to, fishery values in Roaring Fork River and its tributaries above Aspen Reservoir -7-
