In the La Plata Conservancy District of New Mexico, the State of Colorado, the Animas-La Plata Water Conser- vancy District, and the San Juan Wa- ter Commission in New Mexico. One of the main orders of business forthe group is to decide who will op- erate the ALP Project once it is built The public is invited to attend the com- mittee meetings, ALP Organization The Animas-La Plata Project is one of the highest priorities for the Bu- reau of Reclamation. To be able to construct the project within budget and on time, a Project Management Team (PM1), consisting of represen- tatives from the Upper Colorado Re- gional Office, Farmington Construc- tion Office (FCO), 1I1e Technical Ser- vice Center, and the Western Cola- radoArea Office (WCAO) has been organized to provide overall direc- tion and decisions regarding project implementation. The PMT deals wi1l1 the ''big picture" issues including budget allocations and justification, and communications with the Wash- ington Office.
