Teohnioal Subcommittee Reports <br /> <br />Water and Ve~etation Man~ement Technioal Suboommittee <br /> <br />Mr. Lyle Klubben, Direotor, Area Planning and Development Staf:f, Forest <br />Service, San Franoisco, presented the subcommittee's report :for the <br />Chairman, Mr. Dick Sanders, who was unable to attend the meeting. Mr. <br />Klubben reported on the meeting held the previous day (November 27, <br />1978). A oopy o:f the minutes of that meeting is included in PART C-3 <br />ATTACHMENTS. Mr. Klubben also stated that the procedure, whioh went <br />into e:f:feot last :fall, to hold the suboommittee meeting at a di:f:ferent <br />time :from the Exeoutive Subcommittee seems to working quite well. <br /> <br />Environmental and Recreation Technical Suboommittee <br /> <br />Mr. Victor R. Hill, Special Projeots Engineer, Division of Water Re- <br />souroes, State of Nevada, reported on the activities and actions taken <br />on the suboommi ttee' s field trip meeting to Hoover Dam and the pup fish <br />on November 27. His remakrs are covered in PART C- 3 ATTACHMENTS. <br /> <br />7. Consortium o:f Water Institutes and Centers Report <br /> <br />The report o:f the Consortium o:f Water Institutes and Centers was pre- <br />sented by Pro:fessor Sol D. Resnick, Director, Water Resources Research <br />Center, University o:f Airzona. The report is in PART c-4 ATTACHMENTS. <br /> <br />8. Presentation by Mr. Roland Wester,ltard. State Enp;ineer. Nevada <br /> <br />Chairman Neblett introduoed Mr. Victor Hill of Nevada, who, in turn, <br />introduced Mr. Roland Wes~ergard, State Engineer, Nevada. Mr. Wester- <br />gard I S presentation, "National Water Polioy - A State View," is in <br />PART C-5 ATTACHMENTS. <br /> <br />A short question and answer period followed Mr. Westergard's presenta,- <br />tion. Mr. Neblett thanked Mr. Westergard for taking the time to oome <br />and meet with the Committee and stated that it was a privilege to hear <br />a state's view :from one so quali:fied to present it. It is this tY1>e <br />of :forum whioh makes PSIAC worthwhile, he said. <br /> <br />9. Hi~hlights of Members (SemiannUal Reports) <br />, <br /> <br />Highlights o:f the semiannual reports were given by the members or <br />alternates.
