The <br /> <br />project would also provide minimum basic facilties for <br /> <br />recreational use at five locations on the river, and these <br /> <br />facilities were recognized in the wild and scenic river study <br /> <br />as being necessary for the good use of the river if it <br /> <br />became part of the system. <br /> <br />Safety <br />There are no credible question regarding safety of <br /> <br />project features. Investigations for feasibility <br /> <br />estimates have demonstrated geologicaly sound foundation <br /> <br />and construction materials. Final engineering designs <br /> <br />have not yet been completed. These designs are proceeding <br /> <br />in accordance with the best engineering practices. Upon <br /> <br />completion an independent review of principal structures <br /> <br />will be conducted in conformance with recently formulated <br /> <br />Reclamation policy. <br />D.
