Creek, Colorado - ctty officials will purchase by contract with <br /> <br />the Dolores Water Conservancy District 600 acre-feet of municipal <br /> <br />water to be delivered from Monument Creek Reservoir. <br /> <br />Bureau of Indian Affairs - <br /> <br />Ute ~fuuntain Ute Indian Tribe - The Ute Mountain Tribe will enter into <br /> <br />a contract with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Secretary of <br /> <br />the Interior to repay a portion of the cost of Indian irrigation <br /> <br />development and the cost of municipal water, including interest, <br /> <br />within a period of 50 years. However, the portion of repayment for <br /> <br />Indian irrigation development will be differed under the terms of <br /> <br />the Leavitt Act of July 1, 1932, as long as the lands to be served <br /> <br />remain in Indian ownership. <br /> <br />U,S Forest Service - Lands acquired and withdrawn for HcPhee Reservoir <br /> <br />will be transferred to the Forest Service to become a part of the <br /> <br />San Juan National Forest, Although initial recreational development <br /> <br />and mitigation lands will be provided as a part of project construc- <br /> <br />tion, the operation and maintenance of these facilities and develop- <br /> <br />ment of additional facilities will be the responsibility of the U.S. <br /> <br />Forest Service.
