Regular maintenance and <br /> <br />repair activities would continue as at present. The responsibility for routine maintenance <br /> <br />and operation of the facilities was transferred from Reclamation to the District in 1957. <br /> <br /> <br />Therefore, these routine activities are not considered federal actions subject to <br /> <br />consultation with FWS under Section 7 ofESA. <br /> <br />Iftitle for the facilities is transferred to the District, activities subject to federal <br />authorizations (e.g., Section 404 permitting) would still potentially require a Section 7 <br /> <br />19 <br />
