As usod in this compact:-

(a) The term "Colorado Rivor Systom" means tha.tportion of the'

(b) The term "Colorado Rivor Basin" means' all of the drainage area

of the Colorado River System and all othor territory within the United
States of America to which tho ,vaters of the Colorado RivorSystom shall

be bonoficially applied.

Colorado River one mile bolow tho mouth of tho Paria ,Rivor.

(d) Tho torm "States of tho Uppor Division" moans the Statos, of,

Colorado, Now Mexico, Utah and Ylyoming.
(e) The term "Statos of the Lowor Division" means the Statos, of .

(f) The term "Uppor Basin" means those parts of the Statos of
