ill. Project Summary:

The purpose of the CRDSS Project is to provide the capability to develop credible
information on which to base infonned decisions concerning management of Colorado
River water resources. User friendly databases are being developed that will be helpful in
the administration and allocation of the Colorado River and its tributaries within in the
state of Colorado. It will provide data and models to evaluate alternative water
administration strategies. Additionally it will have the capability to accurately represent
current and potential Federal and State administrative and operation policies and laws
concerning water resources.

CRDSS is in its third development year which will focus on a daily river administration
tool. The project has been funded for 4 years and will be finished in 1999.
