The plan would <br />include measures such as creating shallow ponds, perimeter fencing, sign- <br />ing, parking areas, and some areas of special forage plantings. Deer <br />escape structures would be included on canals where deer movement was <br />determined to be a problem. Although a wildlife plan has not been <br />completed, a Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act report is scheduled for <br />completion in April of 1982. The Bureau of Reclamation and Fish and <br />Wildlife Service, estimate mitigation costs would be less than $1,000,000 <br />based on one percent of project costs. The Bureau and Fish and wildlife <br />Service do not anticipate much environmental damage; and, therefore, <br />mitigation costs would be slight. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />-'.
