The spillway will provide for a capacity of 12,000 <br /> <br />! <br /> <br />second-feet with a head of 8 feet over crest of 150 feet. The upstream <br /> <br />portion of the channel will have a 20 foot bottom width with 1/2;1 <br /> <br />side slopes with concrete lining on the excavated rock surface. The <br /> <br />channel width is 24 feet at the cross weir which gradually increases <br /> <br />to 60 feet at the stilling basin with channel walls of varying side <br /> <br /> <br />slopes from 1/2:1 to vertical at the upper end of the stilling basin <br /> <br />and supported by buttresses and counterforts. The stilling basin is <br />a combination of spill and outlet structure with a. length of 100 feet. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Embankment <br /> <br />Embankment naterialscan be secured from the reservoir basin with <br /> <br />a haul of not po exceed one mile.
