The final loan application report for the Roosevelt Water Conservation District, Higley, Arizona, for a Small Reclamation Projects' loan has been transmitted to the Bureau of the Budget. The final loan application report for the Brown Canal Company of Arizona has been transmitted to Congress. Hoover Dam and Lake Mead Lake Mead elevations showed a gradual rise since the last reporting .period. On May 16, 1965, the surface elevation stood at elevation 1101.19, with 12,345,000 acre-feet of available storage. Forecasts indicated a continual rise to elevation 1123.0, or 14,521,000 acre-feet by June.30, 1965. Cur rent Construct ion Colorado River Front Work and Levee System - - Construct ion on Senator Wash Dam.is continuing on schedule. The placing of riprap as well as Zone 1 and Zone 2 materials on Squaw Lake Dike and the North Dike will be completed this quarter. Work continued on the pumping-generating plant. Although the permanent overhead traveling crane has not been delivered in time to facilitate installation of the first pump turbine units, the contractor is improvising temporary measures whereby the installation will go ahead on schedule. The schedule involving the construction of the dam and dikes is now approximately 85 percent complete. Pacific Southwest-Pacific Northwest Intertie -- Line location and flag alignment have been completed on the Mead-Liberty 345-kv Transmission Line. The contract for the design and construction of the extra high vol- tage, direct.current terminal facilities at Mead Substation has been awarded. Completion of these facilities is scheduled for 1971. Flagstaff-Pinnacle Peak 345-kv Transmission Line No.1 -- Flagstaff- Pinnacle Peak 345-kvTransmiss ion Line No.1 has been completed and energized initially at 240 kv, since the 345/230-kv transformer for the Pinnacle Peak Substation has not been delivered.
