A feasibility report is scheduled for
completion in F. Y. 1966.

Studies are progressing on the BLUESTONE PROJECT, with the
feasibility report scheduled for completion in F. Y. 1967.

On the UPPER GUNNISON PROJECT, collection of agricultural,
economic, and irrigation data has been completed on representative
farms selected for evaluation in determining the scope of the feasi-
bility studies to be undertaken. conclusions reached from the data
obtained are that the scope of the feasibility investigations should
be limited to supplying a supplemental water supply to bolster the
economy of the existing farm units and through bringing in a small
amount of new lands for irrigation that can be incorporated into
existing units. The scope also should include feasible municipal and
industrial water supplies, related recreation and fish and wildlife
developments, and such power development as may be found practical.

plan formulation studies, engineering surveys, drainage
studies, and water supply studies are in progress on the GRAND MESA
PROJECT. A contract has been awarded for aerial topography of the
project area.

Preparation of design data and writing of the plan formu-
lation and water supply appendixes are in progress on the modified
plan for the YELLOW JACKET PROJECr. cooperative studies with other
Federal agencies are continuing.

LDM:mm

11/24/65

-2-
