<br />, <br /> <br />i"G "3;::':1 <br />U J,:" . du <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The DOLORES PROJECT feasibility report was adopted by <br />the Secretary on October 2, 1964. The report has been sent to <br />state and federal agencies for formal review under the Flood Con- <br />trol Act of 1944. The Secretary has received comments from the <br />Departments of Labor and Commerce, Public Health Service, and the <br />States of Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, California, and <br />Utah. <br /> <br />The feasibility report for the DALLAS CREEK PROJECT has <br />been distributed to federal, state, and local agencies for informal <br />review. <br /> <br />On the WEST DIVIDE PROJECT, feasibility designs and esti- <br />mates are being completed on remaining project features. Work is <br />continuing on appendices for proposed feasibility report. The <br />report is scheduled to be completed in the fall of this year. <br /> <br />Preparation of design data, feasibility designs, and <br />estimates and water supply operation studies are in progress on a <br />modified SAN MIGUEL PROJECT plan. A report is scheduled for com- <br />pletion early in F. Y. 1966. <br /> <br />Plan formulation studies, water supply studies, and <br />agricultural economic studies are in progress on the BATTLEMENT <br />MESA PROJECT. A proposed feasibility report is scheduled for com- <br />pletion in F. Y. 1966. <br /> <br />Land classification field work and collection of basic <br />water supply data have been completed on the BLUESTONE PROJECT. <br />The proposed feasibility report is scheduled for completion in <br />F. Y. 1967. <br /> <br />On the GRAND MESA PROJECT, the Bureau of Reclamation has <br />completed land classification field work and are now getting into <br />water exchange studies and some of the other involved water supply <br />problems connected with this investigation. The proposed feasi- <br />bility report is scheduled for completion in F. Y. 1968. <br /> <br />Preparation of the project lands, drainage, and water <br />supply appendices for the YELLOW JACKET PROJECT are in progress. <br /> <br />The Bureau is revising our project plans for the YELLQ1 <br />JACKET and JUNIPER PROJECTS to obtain more attractive developments. <br />They have eliminated the long, costly canal from North Fork of <br />the White River into the Thornburgh Reservoir on Milk Creek. The <br />Yellow Jacket project would now consist of Lost Park, Ripple Creek, <br />and Sweetbriar or Rio Blanco Dams and Reservoirs in the White River <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />, <br />, _;Jh~B.~ <br />
