<br />-l5- <br /> <br />Section 6 <br /> <br />Recommendations <br /> <br />The objective of the original Agreement still remains <br />valid. Extension of the Agreement for an additional two years <br />will provide for increased participation by the States in the <br />developing of policies and procedures for the conservation, <br />development, and utilization of water and related land resources <br />of the United States. Consequently, it is recommended that the <br />Agreement be extended for an additional two-year period. <br />In order to more effectively meet the objective of the <br />Agreement, the following additional recommendations are made: <br />A - Develop more well defined procedures for <br />cooperation under the Agreement. <br />B - Schedule Semi-Annual meetings between WRC staff <br />and the Executive Committee of ICWP to discuss <br />mutual problems. <br /> <br />~\)~\) <br />
