<br />AUTHORIZED DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />o <br />~ <br />1\) <br />G) <br /> <br />several million dollars annually are being added to the Gross National <br />Product by recreation attractions afforded by the new reservoirs of the <br />CRSP units and projects. <br /> <br />Water from the Dixie project will improve and stabilize economic <br />conditions in southwestern Utah, and electrical energy from the poten- <br />tial Marble Canyon, project will further enhance economic conditions in <br />the rapidly growing southwest area. <br /> <br />Water diverted from Lake Mead for the Southern Nevada Water Supply <br />Project will improve and stabilize economic conditions in southern Ne- <br />vada by providing supplemental municinal and industrial water to the <br />rapidly expanding urban area in Clark County in southern Nevada. In ad- <br />dition, water would be provided for the potential development of Eldorado <br />Valley southwest of Boulder City, Nevada. <br /> <br />Water salvaged along the Lower Colorado River by the channelization <br />program will improve and assist in stabilizing economic conditions in <br />the Lower Colorado River Basin by providing additional water supply for <br />use throughout the area. <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />
