COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND DIRECTORIES <br /> <br />There is no commercial telephone service at Platoro Dam. However, <br /> <br />UHF radio permits communication between the dam and other stations <br /> <br />within the projects area. The nearest telephone is at the Dam Tender's <br /> <br />residence approximately 1 mile from the dam. The Communications <br /> <br />Directory following this EPP contains the location and telephone numbers <br /> <br />of offices to be contacted. <br /> <br />D. WARNING SYSTEM <br /> <br />No audible warning system is installed at the dam. Warning of failure <br /> <br />or notification of impending failure would be by radio to the Chama <br /> <br />Field Division, which will implement Civil Defense procedures to warn <br /> <br />downstream populated areas. <br /> <br />E. CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT , MATERIALS , LABOR, AND ENGINEERING EXPERTISE <br /> <br />The following equipment is located in the immediate area of the Chama <br /> <br />Field Division.
