Should it fail, loss of life and appreciable economic <br /> <br />loss would probably occur. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />If the dam is failing, the Dam Tender shall immediately inform the <br /> <br />Chama Field Division' office and/or the URGBP office by radio so <br /> <br />downstream evacuation of the flood plain can be started. <br /> <br />a. The Chama Field Division office and/or URGBP office will <br /> <br />inform by telephone or radio the following (refer to "Communic-ations <br /> <br />Directory" in this SOP for telephone numbers, radio, or backup <br /> <br />systems): (1) Conejos County Sheriff, Manassa, Colorado, (2) Colorado <br /> <br />State Police; Manassa, Colorado, and (3) KGIW Radio Station, Alamosa, <br /> <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />A-7 <br />
