No marked stop is <br />located, ,but land typical of that to be irrigaten can be seen in the dis- <br />tance. Approximately 11,980 acres of land would be sprinkler irrigated <br />"ith water from the DRY SIDE CANAL by means of buried pipe laterals. SOUTHERN UTE DIVERSION DMl SITE <br /> <br />Approximately at this location a low head diversion dam would be beilt <br />spanning the La Plata River to divert water from the river into SOUTHERN UTE <br />INLET CANAL for conveyance to SOUTHERN UTE RESERVOIR. <br /> <br />Dam: Concrete overflow spillway <br />9.5 feet high <br />100 feet wide <br /> <br />Pond formed behind dam: 17 surface acres <br /> <br />Distance to Information Sign 12: 1.7 miles <br />
