Total, generation at Garrison in <br /> <br />October was 67 million kilowatt hours. <br /> <br />Fort Peck Reservoir <br /> <br />Total power generation at Fort Peele during the month was 64 million kilo- <br /> <br /> <br />watt hours. Releases totaled 465,000 acre-feet, all passing through the <br /> <br />pmfer turbines. <br /> <br />November Operations <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />November operations will generally follow provisions of the 1960-61 <br /> <br />Annual Operating Plan for the main stem reservoirs which was adopted by the <br /> <br />Coordinating Committee on Missouri River Main stem Reservoir Operations at <br /> <br />its meeting on September 7 and 8. <br /> <br />Gavins Point releases will be maintained in the 25,000 to 30,000 cubic <br /> <br />feet per second range to mid-November, as required to maintain satisfactory <br /> <br />flows for navigation until November 17 at Omaha, November 20 at Kansas City, <br /> <br />and November 24 at the mouth of the Missouri River. During the week following <br /> <br />these dates Missouri River stages at these locations will fall gradually <br /> <br />about 4 to 5 feet. Gavins Point will be operated during November within an <br /> <br />elevation range of 1206 to 1207.5 msl. <br /> <br />Fort Randall releases will baCk up Gavins Point requirements during Nov- <br /> <br />ember, with the pool reaching a minimwn elevation of about 1346 near the end <br /> <br />of the month. <br /> <br />The scheduled evacuation of Oahe storage prior to the winter refill <br /> <br />period was accomplished by the end of the month ,lith the pool level falling <br /> <br />to elevation 1450.3. Releases will be made to pass inflow, keeping the pool <br /> <br />level at ap~roximately the present level.
