A report summarizing this data will be <br />completed before the winter Colorado River researchers meeting. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Examine existing data and new techniques to determine best <br />approach to obtain population estimates for Colorado squawfish in the <br />Middle and Lower Green River (see above: $10,000 allocated for this task <br />will be divided between each reach-$5,000 for the Middle and $5,000 for <br />the Lower Green River. Data will be entered on the computer and <br />transferred to USFWS by January 15, 1999. A report summarizing this <br />data will be completed before the winter Colorado River researchers <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Task 3 - Complete 3 sampling trips (one in Westwater, Desolation/Gray, <br />and Cataract canyons) in July/August for humpback chub monitoring. Data <br />will be entered on the computer and transferred to USFWS by January 15, <br />1999. A report summarizing this data will be completed before the <br />winter Colorado River researchers meeting. <br /> <br />Task 4 - Complete 4 sampling trips (one/month) in Westwater Canyon from <br />July-October for a humpback chub population estimate. Data will be <br />entered on the computer and transferred to USFWS by January 15, 1999. A <br />report summarizing this data will be completed before the winter <br />Colorado River researchers meeting. <br /> <br />VIII.
