<br />. <br /> <br />-6- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />acre-feet resulted from United States operations under <br />Minute No. 218, namely the by-passing of waters during <br />periods of winter minimum flow, and was about 800 acre- <br />feet less than during that period in the 6th year. <br /> <br />The remaining 34,600 acre-feet comprised additional waters <br />voluntarily by-passed by Mexico, and this quantity was about <br />6,200 acre-feet greater than during that period in the 6th <br />year. The second largest source of return <br />fio"s to the river belm' Imperial Dam and above Norelos Dam, is <br />the pumped ground "aters from the South Gila Valley. For the <br />final period 'of operation, 'quantities are estimated at 36,132 <br />acre-feet'-a decrease of 4,158 acre-feet over the quantity pumped <br />in the comparable period in the 6th year. The salinity records <br />indicate a slight increase in the average concentration from <br />2280 to 2310 ppm. Comparative records are tabulated as follows <br />and are shmm graphically on Exhibit 6. <br /> <br />. <br />
