the graph i difficult to interpret because of scaling issues, etc. The report would be
generated si ultaneously with the plot files.
5. Update the d umentation for the watright utility.

Deliverables:

· An enhanced watri t utility that would take a command line option indicating that a
plot file (XMgr or s eadsheet) for cumulative net absolute water rights versus admin
number should be cre ted for all structures in a given basin (using existing options to
specity basins and dist cts).
· An enhancement to the rst deliverable consisting of a version of watright capable of
producing a cumulative n t absolute water rights versus admin number for XMgr and
spreadsheet plot for all the iversion structures in a direct diversion station file
(structures currently being odeled). (As noted above, this task could be done by a
utility written by Ray Bennet but is straighforward).,
· An enhancement to the secon deliverable consisting of a version of watright capable
of producing a cumulative net a solute water rights versus admin number for XMgr
and spreadsheet plot for all the dl ersion structures not in a direct diversion station file
but which have valid GIS crop acr ge.
· An enhancement to the third delivera Ie consisting of a version of watright capable of
generating the current status report fo any list of structures corresponding to a plot
file.
· Updated on-line documentation for the wa 'ght utility consisting of an updated man
page and HTML file.

3.03 Modity the watright utility to produce diversion stati n and diversion rights files that have
aggregated structures and water rights

Objective:

Modity the watright utility to generate StateMod direct diversion station and water rights files for
aggregated agricultural demands using the water rights aggregation classes determined in Task
2.04.

Approach:

1. Modity watright to take as input a group ofWDID's that represent all the structures
to be aggregated and generate a full list of net absolute water rights in the diversion
station rights file (.ddr). The implementation will use commands file arguments similar
to: aggregate (AGG_NODE_ID, WDID, WDID,...). As in Phase II, watright will in
general expect to read a river network file generated by makenet in order to determine
the list of structures in the model. A makenet-generated river network file contains
the structure identifier in the comment field which allows watright to correctly access
the database for that structure.

0065

4
