The necessary support for the Task Force shall be provided by the Bureau of <br />Reclamation. <br /> <br />7. The functions of the Task Force, which are solely advisory, are set forth in <br />paragraph 3 of this Charter. <br /> <br />8. The estimated annual operating cost of the Task Force is $225,000, which <br />includes contract services, logistics, and 3 staff years of support. Non- <br />federal Task Force members will receive no compensation for their services <br />on the Task Force. Federal members will receive no compensation in addition <br />to their regular compensation. Each agency, State, municipality and <br />district is expected to fund its own representative(s), including any <br />payment for travel or per diem expenses. <br /> <br />9. It is estimated that the Task Force will convene a minimum of four times <br />during its existence. <br /> <br />10. The membership of the Task Force is as described in section 4(a) of Public <br />law 99-450. There shall be a member representing each of the entities <br />listed below as indicated. Members representing entities listed in <br />paragraphs lOb, 10c, 10d, 10f, and 109 of this charter will be appointed by <br />the Secretary based upon recommendations from the respective entities. The <br />Secretary will appoint the representative designated by the heads of the <br />entities listed in paragraph IDe (the Department of the Interior represen- <br />tative is already designated in paragraph 5 of this charter). The <br />governors of the States of Arizona, California, and Nevada will each <br />appoint a member to represent their respective States (paragraph lOa). <br />Except for members under paragraph IDe representing entities other than the <br />Department of the Interior, members appointed by the Secretary serve at the <br />Secretary's pleasure. Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as the- <br />original appointments. <br /> <br />a. Indian Reservations (one member each) <br />Fort Mojave <br />Chemehuevi <br />Colorado River <br />Fort Yuma <br />Cocopah <br /> <br />c.
