The segment of the Green River from Gates of Lodore to the southern <br />boundary of Dinosaur National Monument (segment C on map 1) is <br />eligible for inclusion in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. <br />This 44-mile segment posseses outstandingly remarkable scenic, . <br />recreational, geologic, and fish and wildlife values. <br /> <br />Recommendations <br /> <br />1. The 48-mile segment of the Yampa River within Dinosaur National <br />Monument (segment D on map 1) should be designated a component of <br />the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System under the management <br />of the National Park Service. The segment should be classified <br />wild. <br /> <br />t <br />t <br /> <br />2. The l6-mile segment of the Green River from below Flaming Gorge <br />Dam to the BLM boat ramp at Indian Crossing (segment A on map 1) <br />should be designated a component of the National Wild and Scenic <br />Rivers System under the management of the U. S. Forest Service <br />and the Bureau of Land Management. No changes in administrative <br />boundaries are recommended between these agencies. The segment <br />should be classified scenic. <br /> <br />3.
