Catfish is the most <br /> <br />popular sport fish, but trout can also be caught in some of the tributaries. <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />The stream at the Jones Hole campground has been known to produce some large <br /> <br />trout, presumably "escapees" from the Jones Hole Fish Hatchery. Fishing in <br /> <br />\ <br />Browns Park ranges from good to excellent. <br /> <br />opportunities to view wildlife along the study sections are excellent. <br /> <br />Many species of birds, mammals, and reptiles can be seen along the river. Brown's <br /> <br />Park is a national wildlife refuge. <br /> <br />Geology and Paleontology <br /> <br />The Green and Yampa Rivers flow through the Uinta Mountains, the largest <br /> <br />east-west trending mountain range in North America, being 50 miles long and <br /> <br />35 miles wide. <br /> <br />Rock formations representing many ages are present in Dinosaur National <br /> <br />Monument. The formations range from the late Pre-Cambrian to the Tertiary, a <br />
