It has heen indicated that <br /> <br />leaders in Rio Blanco County desire to construct Taylor Draw Reservoir first, <br /> <br />and then when funds are available to construct Wolf Creek Reservoir. If <br /> <br />oil shale development accelerates, financing might become available sooner <br /> <br />than anticipated for a dam at Wolf Creek. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />The development of the diversion structures and delivery system from the <br /> <br />Green River necessary to appropriate the water covered by Deseret's <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />30 cfs filing dated August 31, 1959 is scheduled to begin,in April 1981 and be <br /> <br />completed for water delivery hy October 1983. The necessary financing and <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />construction of these facilities is under the complete control of the <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />project. Therefore, it is believed that the construction of the facilities <br /> <br />can be completed on schedule. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. Available Water <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />Presently 500,000 acre feet of water annually flows from the White River <br /> <br />into the Green River. Assumptions of future water requirements need to be <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />made before estimates of water available for power can be calculated.
