<br />-.' <br /> <br />federal mineral lands leasing act of February Z5, 19ZO as <br />8IIIIIlded, except those lIDleys described in section 34-63-io4, <br />shall be deposited by the state tteasurer into a special fmd to <br />be known as the mineral leasing fund, which is hereby created, <br />for use by state agencies, ptblic schools, and political <br />subdivisims of the state as described in this section for <br />planning, ~truction, and maintenance of pmlic facilities III1d <br />for public semces. <br /> <br />(b) In the appropriation and use of such IIIlIl8Ys, priority <br />shall be giwn to those pIillic schools and political stbdivisims <br />socially or economically iupacted by the develapmlllt, processing, . <br />or energy oonversim of fuels and minerals leased \.Ilder said' <br />federal mineral lands leasing act. <br /> <br />(2) 1\Ienty-five percent of all IlDl8)'S described in <br />paragraph (a) of smsect10n (1) of this section, together with <br />any funds derived from the application of paragraph (b) of <br />smsection (3) of this section, shall, upm teeeipt, be paid into <br />the pIillic sc:hoo1 fund to be used for the support of the pIillic <br />schools of this state. <br /> <br />. (3) (a) Fifty percent of' all mmeys described in paragraph <br />(a) of stbsection (1) of this section shall, upm teceipt, be <br />paid to each of those respecti w . CXUlties of this state from <br />which the federal leasing IIIlIl8Y is derived in proportion to the <br />III1XlUIlt of said federal leasing IIIClIUl)' de'rived from each. of the <br />respective CD\.IltieS III1d used by said COI.I1ties for the pmpose5 <br />dascribed in smsection (1) of this section; except that no <br />single county shall be paid an lII1QIlt in excess of two hundted <br />thousand dollars in any calendar year under the provisims of <br />this paragraph (a). <br /> <br />(b) Any ballll1ce of said fifty percent remaining after <br />payment. to the several COlIlties as provided in paragraph (a) of <br />this subsection (3) shall be paid by the state tteasurer, on or <br />beton the 1ast.day of December of each year, into the state <br />public sc:hoo1 flIld and used for the support of the pmlic <br />schools . <br /> <br />(4) Ten percent of all IlDl8)'s described in paragraph (a) of <br />stbsection (1) of this section shall, upon receipt, be paid into <br />the Colorado water conservation board construction fund created <br />by section 37-6)-121, C.R.S. 1973, for appropriation by the <br />general assenm1y pursuant to the provisions of section 37-6)-122 t <br />C.R.S. 1973, ad for use in accordance with the putpOses III1d <br />priorities described in stbsection (1) of this section. <br /> <br />(s) (a) The remaining fifteen percent of all l1llI1eys <br />described in paragraph (a) of s\bsection (1) of this section <br />shall, upm receipt, be paid into the local government mineral <br />i~ct fund, which is hereby created.
