Splice waterstops at joints in waterstop sections and at intersections of waters tops, <br /> <br />B. Make neat splices with waterstop ends joined in true alignment. <br /> <br />C, Use a miter-box guide and portable saw to make cuts so that ends to be joined will be in <br />proper alignment and contact will be maintained between joined surfaces, <br /> <br />D. Splice by heat sealing adjacent surfaces in accordance with manufacturer's <br />recommendations, <br /> <br />1. Use a thermostatically controlled electric heat source. <br /> <br />2. Use correct temperature to melt material. <br /> <br />3. Do not char material. <br /> <br />E. Make splice so that cooled splice when bent by hand to as sharp an angle as possible <br />shows no sign of separation, <br /> <br />3.03 PROTECTION <br /> <br />A.
