who will receive 0 Farm.in.a.Day, during the Grand Coulee celebration in
Washington,
Dunn, a veteran of 25 months overseas in Europe, was an ormy tank driver
with the 9th Army in its initial drive through France and inta Germany, He drove
the eighth tonk that crossed the Ruhr River with Company A and was one of the
two tank drivers, out of thirty. silt in the outfit, who was not either killed or wounded.
Both Dunn and his wife were born and raised on 0 farm in the same com.
munity near Marion, Kansas.
Following his return from the war, they became lenter.farmers in the some
area in Kansas and had succeeded in acquiring a good outlay of modern farm
equipment. During the 1951 Kansas River flood they were completely wiped out
and were forced to sell their mochinery to pay their debts. After thot they moved
to Yokimo, Washington, where Dunn has been selling farm machinery. He insists
he would much rather use the mochinery than sell it,
