<br />o:Jn1~7 <br /> <br />1993 ANNUAL REPORT <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Colorado River Salinity Control (CRSC) line item funding to assure that program implementation <br />schedules are met. <br /> <br />Uinta Basin Unit. The Council continues to be impressed with the excellent progress <br />in implementing the USDA onfarm program, as well as the outstanding working relationship <br />between individual land owners and USDA personnel. <br /> <br />Bil! Sandy River Unit, The Council is pleased with the rapid progress in this unit, its <br />cost effectiveness and appreciates the efforts of ASCS to expeditiously process requests for <br />waivers enabling implementation to proceed, <br /> <br />Grand Valley Unit. The Council is pleased with the cooperative actions by the USDA <br />agencies and Reclamation to effectively coordinate the onfarm and off-farm implementation <br />actions on this unit, The Council is also pleased that the cooperative surge irrigation <br />. demonstration has resulted in the acceptance of this technique by the local farmers, <br /> <br />Lower Gunnison Basin Unit. The Council appreciates the actions of USDA agencies in <br />allocating funds and providing staff for implementation in all of the subareas in this unit. The <br />Council is pleased with the progress being made in this unit by the USDA's voluntary wildlife <br />replacement program. The Council is also pleased to see the joint USDNReclamation <br />educational activities occurring in this unit. <br /> <br />McElmo Creek Unit.
