<br />aOrJ323 <br /> <br />SUppliers (e.g. City of Aurora, Colorado Springs, Arapahoe County, ...), federal agencies (e.g., Bureau of Reclamation, <br />Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Indian Affirirs, Bureau of Land Management, .. .), other <br />interested agencies (e.g. Environmental Defense Fund, ...) <br />Potential attendees will be contacted to arrange a schedule for each workshop. The workshops will be held at the <br />DNR's CRDSS Briefing Room unless the participants cannot attend there. In that instance the wOIxshops may be held on- <br />site at the agency's office. Attendance at any workshop is targeted to 15 or less persons. <br /> <br />Schedule <br />The schedule for delivery of the External User workshops is to begin in mid-October, thereafter an approximate <br />bi-weekly frequency until completion in mid-December. The workshops will be dovetailed with the other workshops as <br />illustrated on the attached schedule diagram. The External User workshops are scheduled for Fridays. The times will be <br />from 9 AM to 12 noon, a break for lunch, then a wrapup from 1 PM till 2 PM. <br /> <br />2.3 West Slope Division Workshops <br /> <br />Purpose and Content <br />West Slope Division workshops are to be conducted to communicate the nature of the CROSS to a wider <br />audience of potential users and interested persons in the four basin divisions. These include the I) Gunnison River basin, <br />2) Upper Colorado River basin, 3) Yampa- White river basins and 4) San Juan - Dolores River basin. The four meetings <br />will be held in or near the DWR Division Offices and will be coordinated with the Division Engineers' Office in each <br />basin. <br />The Division Workshops, targeted for 1 1/2 to 2 hours duration, will comprise an overview description of the <br />CRDSS and subsequent demonstration using the workstation of the CRDSS interfuce, functions and content. The <br />presentation will be a short version of the DNR workshop demonstrations. Since the meetings are hoping to have a <br />relatively large audience a large screen projector will be used. <br /> <br />Attendees <br />Attendees to West Slope Division Workshops will include interested persons associated with water conservancy <br />districts, irrigation companies, county and local governmental agencies and others. Mail and telephone contacts will be <br />made to solicit lists of potentially interested agencies and individuals. <br /> <br />Schedule <br />The schedule for delivery of the Division workshops is to begin in November and will be conducted in two trips <br />in separate weeks. One trip to Glenwood Springs and Steamboat Springs, the other trip to Montrose and Durango. <br />
